In order to use Forum, you should have a computer that satisfies the platform’s technical requirements. Below are the recommended and minimum system requirements:

  • A multi-core score of 2000 or higher on the Geekbench 5 test

  • Mac OS 10.15/Windows 10 operating system or newer

  • 16 GB RAM

  • 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) wireless

  • Centered Webcam: It’s best to have your camera located at the center above the display

  • SSD hard drive with at least 256 GB capacity

  • 5 or more hours of battery life

  • Strong network connection: See how we recommend strengthening your network connection.

If you already own a computer and would like to use it for taking classes on Forum, be sure it meets the following minimum requirements.

Minimum System Requirements

  • A multi-core score of 1650 or higher on the Geekbench 5 test

  • Mac OS 10.13/Windows 10 operating system or newer

  • 4 GB RAM

  • 802.11ac wireless

  • A working webcam and keyboard

  • Minimum connection speed:

    • Download speed: >5 mbps

    • Upload speed: >1 mbps

Any computer system used to access Forum must meet the Minimum System Requirements. Note that the minimum requirements might provide a suboptimal experience when compared to the recommended system specifications above.

Note that Forum does not run on iOS or Android, so you can not use a phone or tablet to access Forum.
