Overview
The Outcome Index includes a view that displays a participant's current course score and how the course score is calculated. This is meant to help participants understand their current course standing and how their scores are calculated. Only participants will see this view, not faculty or admins.
Note that your organization must opt-in to display this feature.
General behavior
To see a breakdown of your course score:
Navigate to the Outcome Index
Select the Courses tab
Note that your organization must opt-in to enable this tab. If you don't see it, check with your admin to see if it should be enabled.
Click the View Course Score Calculation link displayed below each course title
The current course score is displayed both next to the course title and within the View Course Score Calculation modal. The current course score displays the best predicted score for the course at that time.
This number will convert to a letter grade based on the scale agreed to at your home institution. This conversion scale should be visible in your syllabus. If you have any questions, ask your professor.
