If your camera or microphone isn’t being detected on your Mac, you may need to enable access in your system permissions.

Open Security and Privacy Preferences

From the upper-left most apple icon in the system menu, select “System Preferences”

Then select “Security and Privacy”

Enable the Camera for Chrome and/or the Application

Under the “Privacy” tab, select “Microphone” and ensure that “Google Chrome” and “Minerva Forum” (if using the application) are selected.
