In class, TAs do not have a star next to their name, can not change steps on the timeline, are not able to control who is on the stage, can not filter or shuffle students, and can not create or start polls or breakouts.

During a breakout, TAs go to the breakout control room with the instructor and can visit or listen to groups.

As the participant bar fills up in a classroom, TAs are given the lowest priority to remain visible. TAs are not brought to the top bar by filters. If you want a TA to appear on stage or in the participant bar, drag them from the directory. TAs appear in the directory on the Staff tab under โ€˜TAโ€™.

TAs also have permissions outside of the classroom related to grading. For more information, see this article on TAs permissions outside of the classroom.
